Description
Lighthouse Tales tells the story of one night in the lives of the children of the fictional town of Bishop's Junction (based on Davenport, California) as they sneak out of their homes to the old Lighthouse at Pigeon Point (named after a real lighthouse near Davenport on the coast of Northern California) to hear an old man, The Reader, tell stories. The old man tells the children 4 stories: Ramora, Merlin and the Mermaid, Bryan and the Boys' School and Justice for Jessica Pope while at the same time telling his own story and learning the wisdom of the children who listen. He has done this before, many times, but on this night something different happens. . . .
